Subject: Re: [Harp-L] Sleepwalk - Santo & Johnny -12th on diatonic

yeah, Smokey... our version went over well, but I first heard it on
harmonica from Robert Bonfiglio, and realized it plays so beautifully on a 4
octave chromatic so was a sure thing for my first Open Mic since it's a song I
could practically play in my sleep :)

THEN recently I heard Phil Caltabellotta do it all by himself at a GSHC
Club meeting. George has mentioned playing chord backup to Phil ...but I'd
never heard anything close to how Phil somehow managed that slide guitar sound
all by himself on chromatic. Quite something.

It's such a great tune...I haven't heard it played on diatonic. Would
really enjoy hearing an audio of Ken's version?

Beautiful tune Ken. From back in my era. Used to play it at the
school dances. I'm proud of you. Did it with Elizabeth at spah
Denver. Also on my Danube river, So. America, and Cen. America cruises.
